Your files stay in your browser.

FlowCSV processes your CSV files locally in your browser. Your file contents are not uploaded to a FlowCSV server.

What FlowCSV keeps on this device is a summary of each cleanup — file name, row counts and the rules you used — plus any cleaning profiles you save. No cell values are stored, and you can erase all of it from Settings.

Free vs Pro

The one real difference is how many files you can clean each month: 3 on Free, unlimited on Pro. The 15 MB and 100,000-row ceilings apply to both plans.

Questions

Do I need an account?
No. FlowCSV runs in your browser and there is no sign-in today. A Pro subscription will need an account once billing is available.
How many files can I clean for free?
Three files per calendar month on the Free plan. The count comes from the cleanups recorded in this browser.
What is the maximum file size?
15 MB per file, on both Free and Pro.
How many rows can a file contain?
Up to 100,000 rows and 300 columns per file.
Are my files uploaded?
No. FlowCSV reads and cleans your file inside your browser tab. Your file contents are not uploaded to a FlowCSV server.
What happens when I reach the Free limit?
FlowCSV tells you that you have reached your 3-file monthly limit and points you to Pro. The count resets at the start of the next calendar month.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes. Pro will be a normal monthly or annual subscription you can cancel at any time, and it will keep working until the end of the period you have paid for.
Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?
Yes, once billing is available you will be able to move between monthly and annual from your subscription settings.
What file types are supported?
CSV, TSV and TXT files with comma, semicolon, tab or pipe separators, and Excel workbooks (.xlsx) — FlowCSV lets you pick the sheet. You can also paste rows straight from a spreadsheet. Older Excel formats (.xls) need saving as .xlsx or CSV first.
